If the child dental care begins?

Child dental care should begin as early as possible, although not yet visible teeth. Seeds baby tooth was actually formed after the second trimester of pregnancy. At birth, the child already has 20 seeds of deciduous teeth. We can use a damp cloth to clean your baby's gums after eating or drinking milk. This will inhibit the growth of harmful bacteria.

If your child's teeth began to emerge, we can clean with a toothbrush or a child with a wet cotton at night. We need to help children brush their teeth until about 7 years old child.

Children may experience caries, if parents do not pay attention to good eating habits. Giving a bottle to drink milk while sleeping children have fun in the short term but the habit can damage your child's teeth. If the milk sugar, or food on your child's teeth had no reaction, which can take the tooth enamel, a condition called Syndrome Nursing bottle or a bottle in his mouth. Signs will change the color of tooth enamel, tooth decay and removed. So we have to clean your child's teeth after drinking or eating milk.

How can I prevent tooth decay?

According to the American Dental Association, the visit to the dentist can begin when a child under the age of 1 year. In this visit the doctor will explain how to clean your child's teeth and dental examinations. The next regular visits were conducted every 6 months. Regular visits are useful for early detection of potential problems that cause tooth decay / cavities and help reduce the fear of the child to the dentist.

When all the milk teeth have appeared in the mouth, the dentist can start treatment for fluoridation. Fluoride protects tooth enamel to prevent tooth decay or cavities. Tooth decay is caused by bacteria and food debris left in the mouth after eating.

If you do not clean, they react and produce acids soften the tooth enamel so cavities email. Regular use of fluoride will strengthen the tooth enamel, making it difficult to penetrate acid.

Sometimes the content of fluoride in drinking water is less, then we can ask your dentist about fluoride supplements. Although toothpaste containing fluoride, it is not enough to protect your child's teeth. We must take care that the excessive consumption of fluoride can cause tooth discoloration. Ask your dentist before taking fluoride for children.

Change the color of your teeth can be caused by the consumption of certain antibiotics in the long term, drugs and medicines that contain sugar. Parents should encourage children to brush their teeth after taking the drug, or rinse with water, especially if the drug is consumed in the long run.

Sealant or coating for milk molars as prophylactic against dental caries. Sealants protect teeth from bacteria and food residues, which are difficult to get to the contours of the teeth.
